Chicken Alfredo
Pork Chops
Cajun Pasta
- 1–2 lbs. meat (chicken, shrimp, crawfish, or crab)
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 can cream soup
- cream of chicken (with chicken)
- cream of shrimp (with shrimp)
- cream of celery/mushroom (alternate)
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 cup half-and-half (or heavy cream)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Angel hair pasta (or fettuccine)
Seasoning:
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions:
If making with chicken: boil, saute or cook chicken then cut or shred as desired. Canned or rotisserie can also be used.
In a 4-qt. pot, melt butter then add ALL ingredients. Mix well, bring to soft boil stirring frequently. Lower heat to simmer, cover and cook for 20 minutes. Serve over cooked noodles. Serves 6 when served over pasta.
Can also be served over rice, stuffed into a bake potato, eaten as a soup in a bread bowl or used as a sauce over grilled, baked, or fried fish or chicken.
